Upon arriving in the District of Columbia, DCRenovation Co. founder, Vernon Allamby was amazed to see the amount of wonderful housing stock that existed in several DC neighborhoods. Many were within walking distance of shopping, retail shops and restaurants. The properties had fallen into urban decay and disrepair over the past three decades.

Mr. Allamby began to acquire properties in the Shaw, Eckington and Bloomingdale neighbor-hoods. He joined forces with community groups, local architects, and designers to create his vision for luxury residential and commercial spaces in the area.

Vernon Allamby has been active in real estate development and revitalization for more than 17 years in major cities around the country including New York and Chicago.
